"It's about smart solutions, good advice and trust." This is how Stian Ruud, Project Manager at OBOS, explains that the collaboration with VENI Metering has lasted for 20 years.
OBOS and VENI Metering 20 Years of Trust
The long collaboration started with the project Tveita Senter in 2003. Here, OBOS needed a solution for measuring, billing, invoicing and reporting the electricity consumption of all tenants in the building.
In 2017, OBOS decided to install solar cells on the roofs of six commercial buildings. VENI Metering was then challenged on how solar power could be administered in buildings that are metered and billed through our service. VENI Metering solved this so that the landlord gets paid all solar power in a commercial building with several tenants. The solution is feasible and profitable for the property owner, and was established in 2018 on all buildings with solar cells. Today, VENI Metering measures, invoices and manages more than 25 of OBOS' commercial buildings.
OBOS is now in the middle of one of its largest and most complex projects, Construction City at Ulven in Oslo.

With its 103,000 square meters, this is one of Norway's largest construction projects. OBOS will also move its head office here when the building is completed in 2025.
